SALJONES Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026
SALJONES (SalJones, Coral Springs, Florida) runs a platform that writes and publishes articles for small businesses and, with each business owner's permission, shares those articles on the owner's own online profiles and shows the owner how the articles perform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email info@saljones.com.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and the business you manage when you or your team use SALJONES.
- Business information: the details you give us about your business, such as your website, services, brand voice, images and article topics.
- Information from accounts you connect: when you choose to connect an account by signing in, we receive only what you approve on that service's permission screen. This can include:
- Google Search Console and Google Analytics: search and traffic reports for your own website.
- Google Business Profile: your business locations, so you can pick one, and permission to publish posts to it.
- Facebook Pages: the Pages you manage, so you can pick one, and permission to publish posts to it.
- Microsoft Bing Webmaster Tools: search reports for your own website, using a key you provide.
- LinkedIn: your organization page, so articles can be shared there.
- Access tokens: the sign-in tokens those services give us so we can act for you. We store them encrypted.
- Technical information: basic logs (such as date, time and the page used) and essential cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies on the SALJONES platform.
2. How we use information
We use information only to provide SALJONES to your business:
- Write, schedule and publish articles on your website.
- Publish short posts about your new articles to the profiles you connected, and only those.
- Show you search, traffic and posting reports for your own business.
- Keep the service secure, fix problems and answer your questions.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We never post to an account you have not connected, and you can turn automatic posting off at any time.
3. Google user data
SALJONES's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain terms: we use data from your Google account only to provide the features you turned on for your own business, we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models, and people at SALJONES do not read it except with your permission, for security, or when the law requires it.
4. Artificial intelligence
SALJONES uses artificial intelligence providers to help write articles and create images. We send them the business information and topics needed to write each article. We do not send them data from your connected Google, Facebook, Microsoft or LinkedIn accounts to train their models.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run SALJONES, such as our hosting, security, email and artificial intelligence providers. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
- The services you connect (for example Google or Facebook), when we publish a post or request a report that you asked for.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and SALJONES.
6. How we protect information
Sign-in tokens are stored encrypted. Access to customer data is limited to the people and systems that need it to run the service. Each business's data is kept separate from every other business's data.
7. Your choices
- Disconnect any connected account at any time from the Social Connections or Analytics Connections page in SALJONES.
- You can also remove SALJONES's access from the other service directly: in your Google Account under Security, Third-party apps and services, or in Facebook under Settings, Business Integrations.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing info@saljones.com. When you disconnect an account or ask us to delete your data, we delete the related tokens right away and the related data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
8. How long we keep information
We keep information while your business uses SALJONES. After you stop, we delete it within 90 days, except where the law requires us to keep it longer.
9. Children
SALJONES is a service for businesses. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we will tell the businesses that use SALJONES before it takes effect.
